Manu Inanga - Greenstone Bird PendantManu (bird) pendants are contemporary representations of the native birds of Aotearoa. Manu are suitable to be gifted to skilled singers, kaikorero (orators) or kaikaranga, or those whose personalities mirror the attributes of a particular bird. Birds are traditionally seen as messengers between the mortal and spiritual realm, and bearers of otherworldly knowledge. This manu was carved by Yuki Tanaka from inanga pounamu sourced from the Arahura River

This pair was crafted by Preet Sands from sterling silver with kahurangi pounamu and genuine rubies and measure roughly 35mm by 15mm and are hung with sterling silver hooks
