Description

AnisahTHIS RUG'S STORY: Beni M'Guild rugs come from the Middle Atlas region and feature higher pile and repetitive patterns with geometric shapes. This one is unlike most she actually has lower pile, and the design is more freeform and asymmetrical like you'd find in a Boujad rug, with various symbols. The pile has been worn down, but don't be deceived this is a heavy rug! You can even find a date that it was likely created in (1997) and a name in there.

One of my favorite features of these types of rugs are that they are reversible - as you'll see from the pictures

Kilim (hanbel) with 2 techniques

I hand selected this one while in Morocco in the Fall 2019

SIZE: 77 x 107" (not including tassels)

making this guy a versatile piece for practically any home

It's been in his family for the last 30 years and has been preserved so well

SIZE: 88 x 168" (not including tassels)

The pile on this one is a bit shorter

It's pattern is very minimal - just a series of triangles that form 3 columns

Hand selected on my most recent trip to Morocco

featuring a vibrant color palette with tribal symbols

SIZE: 74" x 132"
