Description

Hudson Whiskey (Tuthilltown Spirits) "Back Room Deal" New York Straight Rye Whiskey Finished In Peated Scotch Barrels 750mlThe distillery's ex bourbon barrels are sent across the Atlantic where theyre used to age peated whiskey, then emptied and returned to the distillery where they are filled up again with straight rye whiskey. Theres nothing sinister about it, its just how the world works. A bit of smoke, a bit of spice. Good enough to seal the deal. The whiskey is aged a minimum of three years, and contains 95% Rye and 5% Malted Barley. Silver Medal at the 2021

1 with its subtle tastes of spice and citrus fruit make it the perfect drink for sharing and is an extra special choice for your guests

our winemakers have created a Chardonnay using 50% barrel fermentation aged for 9 months in new American oak barrels

The “Journaries” is approachable at an earlier stage than its companion “La Chavaroche” but

it can be served as an apéritif or as an after dinner drink

It finishes both sweet and dry
