Description

Goldeneye 2022 Pinot Noir, Anderson ValleyDuckhorn's Goldeneye is a beautiful Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley that should be on the short list for any Pinot lover. Get the new vintage before the ratings come out! 94 Points Brix26: "Always one of our favorite Pinots, the Goldeneye 2022 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir knocks it out of the park. From a stellar vintage, its rich and distinctive, with complex, concentrated black cherry, wild berry, savory spice and fresh earth scents. The tannins are

dried plums and blackberry marmalade

Drinkable now but will be better in two or three years

framed by a generous application of creamy new oak

cinnamon-inflected finish that lingers gracefully and promises to age well through 2030

with evolving waves of fruit and spice notes

The Ferren Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is one of our favorite small-production Pinots of the vintage

92 Points James Suckling: "Lots of black currant and blackberry aromas with hints of wet earth and spice cake

floral quality

and red grapefruit burst from the glass

Though expressive at this stage

and promise even more complexity with age

RRV ($45) one of our favorite small producers
