Description

Porcelain Kitchen Tiles - Flying flowers & seed headsThese porcelain tiles have been inlaid with seed heads and flowers collected from the local countryside. They have been glazed blue to accentuate the texture impressed into the porcelain tiles. This kitchen splash back was designed to create the effect of seed heads and flowers blowing around in the wind. If you are thinking about commissioning a tile panel email me your thoughts, give me a call, or drop into our shop so we can go through your ideas.

On this lamp the fuchsia flowers appear to be diving across the lamp as if swimmers in water

It creates a warm atmosphere

yellow and grey/blue glaze

I was immediately attracted to the shape and patterns of the seaweed fronds

Porcelain picture inlaid with grasses

so I have transferred images from my porcelain lighting and tiles using high fire decals onto the teapots

yellow and blue for a warm feel

This tall sculptural lighting piece would make a fantastic centre piece in a large room or over a dining room table

where there is less light

I have used forest green and sepia glaze stains to accentuate the lavender and grasses
