Colorado Midland Ry KeyOne of the nicest keys to come through my site in a while is this one marked for the Colorado Midland Railway. As most collectors know Colorado keys are highly desirable in our hobby. Key has nice moderate pocket wear with all the markings very legible. Front has CM Ry. While the back side has all the possible marks. Serial number 2201, big S for switch and the A&W oval logo dating the key 1900's to 1920's. The Colorado Midland was in operation from

A Keline lock is in good working order

In my opinion looks to be an unmarked Slaymaker key

I tried mine and had the same result

I believe that's when the Fraim Dogbone was in use

Back side has serial number 7428

I believe it their regular switch cut

Also has M-W for Maintenance of Way on the older dated keys

Back side has a big safety pin soldered on it
