Description

AdaptationWhen the Pacific Northwest fog slips into the rainforest microclimate, everything softens. One of my favourite things to look at out here, when its not the ocean.

swell lines

shot during my first summer in Tofino (circa 2011)

It’s always a lucky moment when the two come together

Between the heavy waves and rain squalls

over rocks

All along the coast of Vancouver Island

Captured from above in a friend's small floatplane

one of those unexpected roadside moments

and layers most people never notice around Tofino

and textures that are usually hidden under water

not touched

I often wonder what life is like revolving around the tides and nature’s rhythm the way they do
