Description

Erstwhile mezcal Ensamble (tepeztate-Tobala)Distilled by Juan Hernndez Mndez; fermented naturally in open top wood vats and distilled in a copper alembic still. A blend of 50% Tepeztate and 50%Tobal. Tepeztate is front and center here, tempered by the smooth caramel notes ofTobal. On the nose, this is a verdant, precise and clean combination of grass and rain washed limestone; pear, peppercorn and minerals come through on the palate.
