Description

SWIFT, TAYLOR – Midnights"Midnights is about reflection, not reinvention. Taylor Swift has explained that at length, in her own flowery vernacular: These 13 songs are a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The thoughts that keep the 32 year old songwriter up late are the ones shes spent nine albums excavating: the unpredictable rise and devastating fall of romance; the binary of the good girl and the bad girl, and

clearing up the muddy sound of the original tremendously

and Randy formed Gardens of…William later founded jazz/punk/world improvisers No Walls

Each 180-gram single has music on the A side and a new etching by artist Dave Kloc on the B side

It was also the album that finally established the 27-year-old as an American superstar

The aura of insurgency provides a charged context for the disc’s more personal songs

it’s punky and poignant

Re-mastered from the original analog tapes

Originally released in 1984

the song structures have been significantly decelerated and simplified

which is a brutal song about someone who asks too much and abuses generosity

the album may be better put into a category with Stockhausen’s Stimmung or Meredith Monk’s work in its untameable audacity

The Cool Death of Island Raiders is the fifth studio album by the American garage rock band Osees
