Description

Fractured Aether, Debris ShiftA depiction of a moment of chaos, destruction and creation; as a tangible object, with clear evidence of human and industrial processes. Exploring the evolution of visual ideas across media and surfaces, the piece draws from and references the work before it. There is a focus on allowing drawings to become real, physical.

In my work

I am preoccupied with how mental states alter engagement with reality

I draw inspiration from standing stones and other Neolithic sites

of the fragile yet powerful cycles of transformation that underpin existence itself

blending colour

This drawing is the ideal resolution

moulded into a thick

and a hint of something left unsaid

the other layered with pigments and oil paint

often used among teenagers

and their hands are manipulating the laces of glossy pink ballet shows

there is an extra level of drama and intrigue expressed in the scene
