Description

5 Sentidos Espadin Tobaziche Batch 2 750ml (ABV 46.5%)About this agave distillate: By Master Distiller, Tio Pedro Hernandez Arrellanes 12 years old agave Angustifolia (Espadin) and agave Karwinskii (Tobaziche) From Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca Double distilled in clay pot still Nose Plantains, raisins and slightly lactic. Palate Toffee, apples, grilled vegetable, wet stone, leather and parsley. Type: Mezcal Distillery: 5 Sentidos

Demure aromas of freshly cut wood and button mushrooms are decidedly earth driven

Nose - Very fruity

very aromatic with a hint of honey and lemon in the foreground

Produced in small batches and aged for a minimum of two and a half years

a process that uses masonry ovens that bake the agave for 40 hours using steam

Nose - Herbal and grassy with sweetened smoke

The aromatic strength recalls the typicality of the sugarcane

Palate - Initial explosion of flavour - a sweet and rapidly rising wave of cacao that starts to bring in traces of earthy roots and that distinctive lilly pilly floral note

Infused with organic lavender

It can also be enjoyed neat or on the rocks

Boulevardier

This is small-batch spirit making at its finest
