Description

DEAD KENNEDYS ‎– Fresh Fruit For Rotting VegetablesSan Francisco's Dead Kennedys arrived onto the punk scene of the late '70s and early '80s with something to say and an urgent, razor sharp sound. After two early singles they delivered the classic Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables in 1980. In the intervening decades the album has never failed to inspire and challenge everybody who came across it. The classic 1980 album has been remastered from the original multi track tapes. Remixed by Chris Lord

No real let-down

But that temptation certainly exists with the release of this album

Destroyed By You Version Target Back To Base Downed City Long Distance Runner

propelling each taut composition into realms unthinkable from count-off

Big Mouth Screaming At A Wall Bottled Violence Minor Threat In My Eyes Out Of Step (With The World) Guilty Of Being White Steppin' Stone

side one is more like their live selves and more like their earlier recordings

Hatched in 2017 via an assemblage of FLESH WORLD

Most of the tunes are mid-tempo punk this time

This Is Hell Pity In The Night Damned To Be Free White Trash (2nd Generation) American Dream Eat Your Dog Voice Of God Is Government Oligarchy Doin' Time

"Disco" is a fun punkish take on the Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz

but this new BLACK FLAG album is much better
