Description

Paper Sculpture with Nodules in Case 11 - Jesi AsagiThis piece is for in store pick up only dimensions: 13. 5h x 3w (sculpture), 15. 5h, 8. 5w (case) materials: paper, glassine, ph Neutral bookbinding glue The repetition of coiling the paper to create the shape is a meditative practice. It always surprises me how the slightest adjustment, a mere millimeter, changes the form. I have called these sculptures: horns, cones, shells, shapes, bodies. To me, they are beings.
