How should I assess customer reviews before making a purchase?

Check whether the review describes the same product option you are considering. Repeated wording alone does not establish that experiences are independent.

What should I do if checkout changes my selected option unexpectedly?

Review the total after restoring the intended option if possible. Do not submit several orders to see which version is accepted.

How can I compare this product with other options?

Look for limitations that could outweigh an otherwise attractive feature. Customer reviews can add context when they describe the same intended use.
