Roger Groult 18 Year Pays D'Auge CalvadosA blend of calvados aged a minimum of 18 years based on cider apples from Pays dAuge area, this was double distilled over wood fire and blended and aged in old French oak casks. This has a remarkable balance in the nose with delicate but present aromas of cooked apple, clove, nutmeg, pastry dough, butter, fallen leaves, beeswax, brown sugar, and cinnamon. The palate is well balanced with just the lightest suggestion of its proof with flavors of
