Its called peanut butter tree due to the fact that the leaves smell like peanut butter when crushed. Carnival has nice heart shaped green leaves that have yellow to creamy white margined variegation. Blooms on Carnival are white, maturing to purple blue berries with red bracts.

It keeps its golden foliage all year but is brighter light yellow during the winter
