Description

Dr. Z Mini-Z Head - Surf GreenThe Dr Z Mini Z used the same circuit as the original, but this time they added a built in attenuator to dial back the output. This allows you to use it as sort of a "master volume", yet you still get to keep the tubes running at full plate voltage for that thick sustain and rich tube harmonics that only a tube amp can give when cranked, but at lower volumes. Now, if you're looking for clean headroom, the MiniZ is probably not going to do it for you.

These two choices are combined with a retro-minded

Turning the volume up little by little introduces a thick and aggressive overdrive reminiscent of early Marshall amps

but truth is they have a slight "thump" that becomes a loud "BOOM" when splitting say a Twin Reverb and Vintage Plexi Marshall

Dimensions: 19" Wide 9

Rectifier: Tube rectifier - 5AR4

you can get a nice assortment of overdriven tones such as blues

Or enjoy one massive throbbing Tremolo with no panning when knob set full IN-phase

Featured Artists Using the BE-100:

and there is even a footswitch so you can turn it on and off

The new ultra light cab of the 1x12 Z-Lux combo was specifically designed in conjunction with the included new 12" Z-12 speaker
